BEGIN ANYWHERE

Writing and design are my greatest passions and raising my son, Brayden Thomas, is my greatest joy. 

Journalism and photography allow me to meet new people, learn their stories, and in the process possibly also share mine. Connecting translates into stories and photographs so fluidly. 

I graduated with a degree in interior design just weeks before my husband and I welcome our son Brayden Thomas. After college I had the privilege of dedicating myself full time to raising him, but still continued to explore design through various avenues, specifically photography. 

After college graduation, fast forwarding to when Brayden was 18 months old and just weeks before I turned 24; I lost my husband Tommy. He served 2nd Ranger Battalion at Fort Lewis, WA and was just a week short of coming home from Afghanistan when he was killed in action.

Writing and photography have been a big part of my healing in the loss of Tommy. Writing and photography are so healing for my soul. Not only am I able to tell others stories through my words and lens, but each person also becomes a part of mine. 

I currently live in Southern California with our sweet son Brayden Thomas and our loving family. I would love to hear from you.
